Pronounced: CLAR-i-tin dee
Generic ingredients: Loratadine Pseudoephedrine sulfate
Claritin-D is an antihistamine and decongestant that relieves the sneezing runny nose stuffiness and itchy tearing eyes caused by hay fever. Two versions are available: Claritin-D 12 Hour for twice-daily dosing and Claritin-D 24 Hour for once-a-day use.
ADULTS AND CHILDREN 12 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER
The usual dose is 1 tablet every 12 hours for Claritin-D 12 Hour 1 tablet a day for Claritin-D 24 Hour. If you have kidney trouble your doctor will start you on 1 tablet a day (1 tablet every other day for Claritin-D 24 Hour).
