A "replacement" prescription is a newly issued prescription for a drug previously ordered (no change in dosage or strength). In most cases, a replacement prescription is submitted because all of the refills on the previous prescription have been used up.
|

|
However, replacement prescriptions are treated the same as brand new prescriptions in terms of how they are processed by Total Care Pharmacy. In
both cases, a licensed Canadian (or other selected country)
doctor must review the prescription before the initial fill can be shipped.
|
|
|
Accordingly, when either a brand new or replacement prescription is being submitted, you should allow approximately 21 days for your order to be delivered.
|
|
|
Refills not involving a brand new or replacement prescription should be delivered in 10 to 14 days.
